TLG Financial Consulting (TLG) offers objective, strategic, and tactical financial advisory services to all size clients in all locations.
Fraud and Forensic Investigations
TLG will investigate allegations of fraud, corruption, whistle-blower claims and any other irregularities (e.g., financial statement fraud, employee theft, vendor / customer fraud, embezzlement, money laundering schemes, kickback schemes, etc.).
We will plan, perform / execute and report on most types of investigative matters re: Litigation, Fraud and Alternative Dispute Resolution (e.g., reputational damage, business interruption claims, economic loss or other business crisis). We will help analyze the financial data for a judge, jury, arbitrator or mediator (alternative dispute resolution).
TLG can also assist with writing fraud policies and procedures including implementation of a fraud prevention framework (e.g., anti-fraud controls). We can assist with background checks, whistleblower reporting programs, family law matters (e.g., divorce case financial analysis – assessing reported income, etc.), damage quantification, etc. We will perform independent examinations, internal investigations, and special investigations for Sr. Management, Boards / Committees. We will also act as an expert witness for either side if deemed necessary.
Dispute Resolution Support
TLG will help resolve disputes from a financial standpoint by bringing an independent fair and reasonable approach to the table. We will also act as an expert witness for either side if deemed necessary.
Litigation Advisory Services
TLG will analyze the issue, gather the necessary information, perform a comprehensive detailed analysis and prepare a written report in order to assist in understanding the issues and to provide the results of the analysis. We will provide expert witness testimony if deemed necessary.
eDiscovery and Forensic Technology (Electronically Stored Information – ESI)
TLG will work cooperatively and in conjunction with counsel and management including the information systems department (or an outside systems team) to obtain relevant data from forensic images. We will assist in reviewing and making decisions as to relevant information. Digital Forensics – we will also review and assist with the chain-of-custody methodology.
Data Analysis and Mining
TLG will assist in reviewing the data in detecting anomalies, re-constructing certain accounting records or tracking / tracing transaction data. We will report the results in a meaningful way through the use of narratives, graphs, charts, etc.
Bankruptcy and Insolvency
TLG will review the business, provide advice, strategy and help execute the necessary steps to help ensure maximum benefits are achieved on either side of the transaction. We will provide restructuring advice with regard to the handling of payables, receivables, etc.
Business Interruption Claims Support
We will review and help evaluate losses from both sides of the equation.
Acquisition Due Diligence
We will review both sell-side and buy-side transactions. We will assist with analyzing and detecting weaknesses and strengths in all areas of the acquisition.
Mergers and Acquisitions
We will assist with identifying financial and operational synergies, etc.
Tax Services
TLG can assist with sales taxes, personal income tax, business income tax, etc.
